LOS FELIZ

Historic Spanish mansions, located in the Los Feliz Estates area located north of Los Feliz Boulevard and other old homes that are rich in character are the things that people think about when talking about Los Feliz. Homes have true architectural and historic significance here.  However, Los Feliz offers quite a bit more than this for homebuyers and people wishing to purchase real estate here. Los Feliz is bordered by Hollywood Hills to the west, Hollywood to the southwest, Silver Lake to the southeast, Atwater to the east, and Griffith Park to the north.  The commercial section of Los Feliz is known as Los Feliz Village and is concentrated along Hillhurst Avenue and Vermont Avenue.  If you like the nightlife, you’ll love The Derby, The Dresden Room, and Figaro Bistro.  Los Feliz is divided into five sorts of districts or interest areas.  There are Los Feliz Hills and Estates, Los Feliz Square (Laughlin Park and Thai Town), Los Feliz Village, Los Feliz Knolls and Waverly Heights, and Franklin Hills.  A Los Feliz agent or realtor can help you with purchasing a home or condominium in these areas.

Griffith Park is a stone’s throw from Los Feliz, and this is one of the most open and majestically appealing parks in southern California.  It is great for hiking, bike riding, and the Griffith Park Observatory is an excellent place to take your family.  There are several pockets in Los Feliz that are highly pedestrian-and bike-friendly. With so many small shops to explore in the area, visitors can miss many of the neighborhood’s hidden gems. If you are a new resident or homeowner in the neighborhood and looking to learn more about the area, simply head towards Hillhurst Avenue or Hollywood Boulevard, or Vermont Avenue where you’ll find a slew of charming boutiques, eclectic bars, and diverse dining options. Living in this neighborhood means being near theatres (whether it’s the Greek Theatre or the vintage, Vista theatre), boutiques, stellar restaurants, and coffee shops. Los Feliz Village.  Please check with a Los Feliz agent or realtor to find out how you can become a new homeowner in this beautiful part of southern California.
