What Does a $5 Million Condo Buy You the Wilshire Corridor and Century City
The Wilshire Boulevard, located along the Wilshire Corridor in Westwood is one of the most prestigious condominiums rows anywhere in LA or the world with people traveling from around the world to move to this prestigious location. It’s reminiscent to living in the heart of Paris or London.
You'll find condominiums starting at around $1 million all the way to $20 million but, what is the average price? A lot of my clients are looking around the $4 million-$10 million range settling usually for something around five to $6 million. So, what does $5 million by you in a Wilshire Corridor condo? Let's take a look at some listings.
Wilshire Corridor Condos
As of the publishing of this post, there were four listings between $4.75 million and $6 million. The real estate market is quite competitive right now and not necessarily an average market that we would see in other unprecedented times. Typically there would be between 5 to 15 listings anywhere around that price range along the Wilshire Corridor.
Listed at $4,995,000 is a three-bedroom and 3 1/2 bath condo unit at the Remington Private Residence Tower. This 3200 square-foot unit features an inspired incarnation of the 1940s era class combined with futuristic and modern design. Homeowners dues of around $4200 per month cover DirecTV, 500 speed Internet, several utilities and of course access to all the amenities.
Listed at $5,325,000 is a three-bedroom and 3 1/2 bath condo unit on the 15th floor of the Californian, and Art Deco building constructed in 2005. Residents enjoy high and concierge services, security, two car parking spaces, a well-equipped fitness center, heated swimming pool, cabana, putting green, entertainment room and many other amenities and services. HOA fees are $3900 per month.
At the top of the list at $5,995,000 is a four-bedroom and 4 1/2 bath unit at the Ten-Fix Sixty Residences. This is Barbara Sinatra's former home; a rare 5600, four-bedroom and 4 1/2 bath condominium with spectacular mountain and city views. This actually has some of the lower HOA fees of the others previously mentioned that just $2900 per month. This is an older condominium that is seen in multiple upgrades and renovations. Originally built in 1982, this 22-floor high-rise condominium features a wide variety of services and amenities such as 24-hour concierge services, clubroom, controlled and secure access, storage lockers, valet parking, reception desk, and many other facilities as well as a fitness center, pool, and spa.
Century City Condos
Located along the Avenue of the Stars in Century City are six listings priced between $4.9 million and $5.7 million.
At the Century is a three-bedroom and 3 1/2 bath luxury unit for $4,950,000. This "smart home" unit is bright and open with all the amenities of the world-famous Century condominium building. Homeowner's dues are approximately $3700 per month, and cover all common area maintenance and amenities.
At 1 W. Century Dr. is a three-bedroom and 3 1/2 bath condo unit price of $5,150,000.
